Small Pipes Bellows Blown Key of A - No Engraving

Fred Morrison is a piper with an international reputation. Using his extensive experience he has developed, together with McCallum Bapipes, a range of high quality bellows and mouth blown Reelpipes and Smallpipes.

Small pipes in A (440) with bellows and a finest quality hide bag made by master bag maker, Lawrence Thompson.  Each set comes fully set up by Fred Morrison - with a drone switch as standard –complete with flight case and spare chanter reed.

The quality of the tone is critically dependent on the standard of the bellows. The bellows for Fred Morrison Pipes are made from the highest quality leather, with plush leather covered cushion pads sewn on the front and back. The bellows are 100% air tight and very comfortable to play.

The chanter is crafted from African blackwood and is perfectly tuned to concert pitch. The sound is clear with an excellent dynamic, allowing the piper full expression when playing

The drones are also made from African blackwood. Steady and melodious, the harmonics they produce work extremely well with the chanter.

Each set is subject to stringent quality control and set up by Fred Morrison himself.
