Crozier Cane Tongue Drone Reeds

Crozier Cane Drone reeds are the second generation of the original "Ross Reed" that was first manufactured in 1985. Identical in manufacturing methods and using the original tools and machinery, the Crozier Cane Reeds are equal to their predecessor but due to the increasing pitch of bagpipes in the last 20 years, the new Crozier Cane Reeds are now made to a higher pitch to suit today’s piper.

The combination of the bridle, rubber tuning plug and long hemped section for seating in the drone gives the Crozier Can Drone reed a substantial variation of pitch and tone setting options.
