These reeds have been on the market since 2000 and have been developed and amended. The latest Balance Tone drone reed is yellow in colour. Working with Robert Mathieson, Balance Tone designer Bruce Hitchings, lengthened the bass tongue of the latest reed to give it a richer sound.
